September 11, 2004 After departing Sicily, we headed up the Adriatic Coast and stopped first at a little touristy beach town, Pescara.  We continued on to my favorite part of the trip...Venice and Florence.  Everything I thought it would be and more.  Venice, a city on water, that amazed me with it's intricate framework of little streets... Florence, so rich in it's artistic history, that I was completely mesmerized... well, by David, you know... that hot piece of marble!  These two cities are fabulous, and should never be missed!
