August 31, 2004 Last leg of the journey... we traveled from Florence through the Tuscany region.  In my opinion, the most beautiful in all of Italy.  We finally arrived at Pisa, where I was confronted with my dream of climbing to the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, in order to stand where Galileo stood centuries ago, doing research on the parabolic motion and physics of objects being thrown from the top.  I was ecstatic!  We continued south, and finally made it back to Rome, where I followed the footsteps of Dan Brown, and took pictures of some of the major landmarks that are part of the Davinci Code.  One of the best trips ever!
