April 8, 2006 While I was living in Monterey, California, Mom and Tommy came out to experience the West Coast.  These pictures are from a year ago, but I promised I would put them up!  I have alot of catching up to do.  We spent the day in San Francisco, enjoying the ambiance of a city that is unlike any other.  Our favorite part of this adventure was our trip to the island of Alcatraz, which has quite a boastful history.  Tommy, who had spent his life entrigued by such a place, and has probably seen every movie and Discovery special made on the the old prison, was completely entralled.  We all were.  This is our experience at Alcatraz.
